Life has taken me through deep, life-altering experiences: cancer (twice), a near-death birth experience, the loss of my father, stepfather, and brother, and the long, complex journey of healing from emotional trauma. These experiences didn’t break me – they opened me. They shaped the way I meet others: with presence, patience, and respect for the time and space it takes to heal.
There were moments, especially in the hardest times, when I felt something vast and quiet – a presence that held me when everything else fell away. I don’t pretend to have it all figured out. I still face doubt, fear, and frustration. But these experiences have changed me. They’ve made me more open, more real, more willing to meet life as it is – and to meet others where they are. I’ve come to trust the wisdom of the body, and the strength that comes from simply staying present.
This is the ground I stand on. Not mastery, but practice. Not certainty, but presence. This is what I bring into my work: a space where you can show up as you are – and feel met.
